MAD to CNY Exchange Rate

MAD: Bank Al-Maghrib sets a daily central rate for the dirham against a basket of currencies weighted 60 percent euro and 40 percent US dollar, and lets the dirham trade within a fluctuation band around that rate rather than at one fixed number. Under a reform begun in January 2018, Bank Al-Maghrib has twice widened the band — from ±0.3% to ±2.5% in January 2018, then to ±5% in March 2020 — describing this as a gradual, voluntary transition from a fixed exchange rate regime toward a more flexible one. CNY: China pursues a managed floating exchange rate regime based on market supply and demand with reference to a basket of currencies, adopted in the July 2005 reform that ended the fixed peg to the US dollar. The China Foreign Exchange Trade System, authorized by the People's Bank of China, publishes a central parity rate of the renminbi against the US dollar each business day, around which onshore trading is managed.
