CAD to UAH Exchange Rate

CAD: The Canadian dollar floats freely: the Bank of Canada states that the flexible exchange rate, or floating dollar, permits an independent monetary policy aimed at its 2% inflation-control target, and that the dollar's value is not fixed to any other currency or to gold. The dollar has floated continuously since 31 May 1970. UAH: Ukraine operates a "managed flexibility" exchange-rate regime: the National Bank of Ukraine intervenes in the interbank foreign-exchange market to cover the war-driven structural shortage of foreign currency and smooth excessive swings, while letting the hryvnia move in both directions rather than holding a fixed rate. The NBU introduced this regime in October 2023, replacing the exchange-rate peg it had imposed at the outbreak of Russia's full-scale invasion, as a transitional step toward a fully floating exchange rate under conventional inflation targeting.
