USD to ARS Exchange Rate

USD: The US dollar floats freely: its value is determined in foreign exchange markets, and neither the U.S. Treasury nor the Federal Reserve targets a level for the exchange rate. ARS: Since 11 April 2025 the peso has traded in the Mercado Libre de Cambios under a regime of floating between moving bands, launched with limits of 1,000–1,400 pesos per US dollar that widened 1% a month; the rate floats freely inside the band, with the Banco Central buying dollars at the floor and selling at the ceiling. From 1 January 2026 the band floor and ceiling adjust each month at the pace of the latest monthly INDEC inflation figure, applied with a two-month lag.
