GBP to ARS Exchange Rate

GBP: Sterling has floated freely since the United Kingdom left the European Exchange Rate Mechanism on 16 September 1992. The Bank of England targets 2% inflation, set by the Government, and does not target an exchange rate. ARS: Since 11 April 2025 the peso has traded in the Mercado Libre de Cambios under a regime of floating between moving bands, launched with limits of 1,000–1,400 pesos per US dollar that widened 1% a month; the rate floats freely inside the band, with the Banco Central buying dollars at the floor and selling at the ceiling. From 1 January 2026 the band floor and ceiling adjust each month at the pace of the latest monthly INDEC inflation figure, applied with a two-month lag.
