CHF: The Swiss franc floats: the SNB has no exchange-rate target and steers monetary conditions through the SNB policy rate, while remaining willing to be active in the foreign exchange market as necessary. The minimum exchange rate of CHF 1.20 per euro, in force from September 2011, was discontinued on 15 January 2015. ARS: Since 11 April 2025 the peso has traded in the Mercado Libre de Cambios under a regime of floating between moving bands, launched with limits of 1,000–1,400 pesos per US dollar that widened 1% a month; the rate floats freely inside the band, with the Banco Central buying dollars at the floor and selling at the ceiling. From 1 January 2026 the band floor and ceiling adjust each month at the pace of the latest monthly INDEC inflation figure, applied with a two-month lag.
