CAD to ARS Exchange Rate

CAD: The Canadian dollar floats freely: the Bank of Canada states that the flexible exchange rate, or floating dollar, permits an independent monetary policy aimed at its 2% inflation-control target, and that the dollar's value is not fixed to any other currency or to gold. The dollar has floated continuously since 31 May 1970. ARS: Since 11 April 2025 the peso has traded in the Mercado Libre de Cambios under a regime of floating between moving bands, launched with limits of 1,000–1,400 pesos per US dollar that widened 1% a month; the rate floats freely inside the band, with the Banco Central buying dollars at the floor and selling at the ceiling. From 1 January 2026 the band floor and ceiling adjust each month at the pace of the latest monthly INDEC inflation figure, applied with a two-month lag.
