CNY: China pursues a managed floating exchange rate regime based on market supply and demand with reference to a basket of currencies, adopted in the July 2005 reform that ended the fixed peg to the US dollar. The China Foreign Exchange Trade System, authorized by the People's Bank of China, publishes a central parity rate of the renminbi against the US dollar each business day, around which onshore trading is managed. BDT: Bangladesh Bank operates a managed floating exchange-rate regime. It introduced an interim crawling peg on 8 May 2024, realigning the taka to a market-clearing mid-rate of Tk. 117 per US dollar within a basket-linked band as a transitional step, and by its July-December 2026 policy statement describes the framework as a "flexible, market-determined exchange rate regime" while still intervening with net foreign-currency purchases and publishing a daily transaction-based reference rate.
