CNY to RUB Exchange Rate

CNY: China pursues a managed floating exchange rate regime based on market supply and demand with reference to a basket of currencies, adopted in the July 2005 reform that ended the fixed peg to the US dollar. The China Foreign Exchange Trade System, authorized by the People's Bank of China, publishes a central parity rate of the renminbi against the US dollar each business day, around which onshore trading is managed. RUB: The Bank of Russia has run a floating exchange-rate regime since November 2014, setting no official target and not intervening in normal conditions, though it may trade currency to support financial stability. After US sanctions on the Moscow Exchange Group suspended on-exchange dollar and euro trading on 12 June 2024, the Bank of Russia shifted to calculating the official USD/RUB rate from over-the-counter market data, formalised under Ordinance No. 6956-U of 2 December 2024, and it separately administers currency-control rules under Federal Law No. 173-FZ.
